So, Who is This Person?

Hi, I'm Mary M. Gladden, born in (and living near) the historic, quirky and lovely town of Athens, Georgia, renowned for two things: The University of Georgia Bulldogs (remember Herschel Walker?) and rock (as in R.E.M., the B-52's, Widespread Panic...I could go on). I've worked as a CAD designer for several engineering firms, almost since CAD came on the scene, have an AA in IT, and am working toward one in Graphic Art. I'm a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, with a diploma in Digital Design.

I've always loved to illustrate, design, play with any kind of creative materials I could get my hands on, etc., but when I discovered the PC and CAD, and realized computers can make art, a real passion was born. I've always been restless and curious, and wanted to communicate what I think this existence is all about, but it's hard to express it in words. Life is short, but I know it has a purpose. We're learning who we are and how to do this, and we can teach each other by expressing what we know to be true. If you're open, and willing to let other people see who you are, letting your work reflect what you love and know from within, you're certain to create something that touches, informs, and gives joy to others. I want clients and/or customers to feel that they can trust me to always be honest, and strive to give them the best I have to give.
